Dr. Reimer is a great listener, and she helped me with strategies for coping when there was simply nothing I could change about a bad situation.
She didn't want to work with me because I have a mental illness. She said she wasn't comfortable using DBT therapy even though it's on her page (as something she does). She then encouraged me to return to a therapist who had made homophobic comments, and really set me back in my treatment. Therapy gets a bad rap because the people who need it the most don't get it! It's been nearly impossible for me to find a therapist even with great health insurance, largely because of discrimination.
Sarah has seen me through some of the hardest things I have had to handle in my life. She is unreal in her compassion, empathy, and her honesty. If you need this sort of help she is gifted and you would be in the best hands. I can't thank her enough for all she has done for me.
