Best Indian I have found around town
Our family orders food from Clay oven for all our parties. We really love their food. It is very flavorful and is enjoyed by all of our guests. Our favorite dishes are chicken do piaza, chicken tikka, alloo ghobi, okra dish, all their byriyanni, and chicken tikka masala. They are also very friendly and our guests who end up going there on their own are also impressed with their friendliness and customer service! Thank you Clay Oven.

I generally get the combos. Best bang for your buck so to speak. Have never had problem here. Service is fine, food has always been fresh. Would not recommend chat papri but everything else is delicious Bathroom clean but near back door so can getbdrafty in winter.
This is my happy place! We love Clay Oven. So many awesome memories with my wife and family. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Frederick.
Not happy. There is an Indian restaurant 1/2 a mile from my home. We choose often to drive way past it for Clay Oven. Of the last 3 times - the roti was only fresh once. It was clearly from the buffet or a day or two old. Crispy and rubbery. I asked for it to be fresh and hot. It was not. I called and it was suggested I order Naan. I have eaten Roti since my childhood. I prefer it. It’s not an excuse for selling me old bread. I cannot believe the level of customer service I received. Disappointing.
