It is hard to find a good Italian market outside of Italy or New York but Claro's is a gem. They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. Claro's has an amazing selection of Italian products. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Their sausages are fabulous as are their bakery items. Harry and I go there every week sometimes just for the sensory pleasures. It smells like Italy. It tastes like Italy. And the people inside are warm and friendly like Italy. We have shopped at Claro's for 40 years or more and I don't think there's anything on their catering menu that we haven't tried and loved. Had a great tasting party with wonderful salumi and cheese. The young man in the Deli was wonderful! Of course he was; former La Sallian student from La Salle High School. He knows my mijo Noeh Martinez. Gianmarco you made my day today.�stopped at TJ's and bought a nice Chianti.
So good. Real Italian meets and cheeses= great tasting sandwiches. Service is second to none.
