It is hard to find a good Italian market outside of Italy or New York but Claro's is a gem. They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. Hadn't been here in years used to come as a child as my Italian Aunts, Uncles and cousins all lived in SG . A trip to Claro's was always a treat and glad to have come back and relive those wonderful smells and memories as an adult! My coppacola sandwich and cookies we're delicious!! Grazie!
Claro's has an amazing selection of Italian products. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Their sausages are fabulous as are their bakery items. Harry and I go there every week sometimes just for the sensory pleasures. It smells like Italy. It tastes like Italy. And the people inside are warm and friendly like Italy. We have shopped at Claro's for 40 years or more and I don't think there's anything on their catering menu that we haven't tried and loved.
