It is hard to find a good Italian market outside of Italy or New York but Claro's is a gem. They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. It's been a long time since I shopped at Claros in Upland. I bought Federico breadsticks and nut balls (cookies). I've always love the browned cheese and crispiness of the breadsticks. I'm returning them tomorrow they tasted old stale. Very disappointed.
RecommendedIf you ever need an event catered this is the place to go their prices are reasonable their portions are generous and The Taste is exquisite and if you have to wait while you're in the store to get a sandwich believe me it's well worth the wait unfortunately I don't live near Claro's and I've only had them cater my Christmas for the last couple years and I have not been disappointed try it you'll like it

I still buy my groceries at Claro’s and love their products and food. Their sweets are not that “sweet”, but I’m use to that from my Sicilian mother-in-law. I love their products and remember the family members sitting in the back of the shop (they were there 40 years ago, and still there today). Excellent!!!!
Great place for cold cuts, sandwiches, pasta, fresh rolls and bread. Their garlic stuffed pork roast can't be beat! Always friendly service, as well.
Childhood memories of shopping with my parents...Claro's is family! I'm passing the tradition on with my son 💕
This place is the stuff of my childhood. I have never been disappointed by anything I've bought here. everything is so delicious. Mmmmm.
