It is hard to find a good Italian market outside of Italy or New York but Claro's is a gem. They sell everything Italian, from sausage and meats to all the cheeses (buffalo mozzarrella, provolone, ricotta, mascarpone). They sell some great dried pastas in unusual shapes and canned sauces. Delicious food, friendly people. I love the Italian sub! Get the cookies!!
Although I am partial because I have worked for Claro's for more than 20 years, I have to tell everyone...the food is delicious and delightful. I have tried other deli foods and they always come up short on quality and taste.
Has to be the best Italian Sub sandwich I've ever had. I drive 80 miles from Ventura to get one. Soft sandwich roll, lots of Italian meats and I always buy a ball of fresh smoked mozzarella and have the sandwich masters use that instead of regular mozz. I use the rest of the cheese for other snacks during the week! Please open a store in Ventura!

Grew up with the one in San Gabriel......when ever my Mom made her subs or home made pizza, we always made a run to Claro's. Stepping into the one in Tustin was like stepping into the past! Love the place! And the various aromas......!!!!!!

Claros catered a wedding reception for us this weekend and not only was the food excellent but their staff was incredible! Food was ready and served on time and was very affordable for our client . As an event coordinator that works with alot of caterers, WE LOVED CLAROS ! Lots of referrals coming your way!
