Very disappointed for such an "upscale" restaurant and their prices that there is no Chef, all hot foods are pre cooked and sitting under warming lamps, and prices are very expensive for cafeteria food!!! Hostesses are very offatandish and cold. Ambience is very beautiful, the food just does not match the quality that is represented by the outward appearance!! We had been on 95 driving all day. It got dark and foggy and we decided to stop at the Holiday Inn. We passed Clark's on the way. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the restaurant and country store were attached to it. They were quaint and enticing so we decided to stop. What a great decision! It was quaint and cozy and the staff were warm and friendly. Best of all the food and drinks were truly delicious!!!!! If you a Re ever near Santee, South Carolina make sure you stop!!!!!!! You won't be sorry!!!!!
This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at Clark's Inn. It is a perfect place to rest and renew. My mother and I loved the Gift Shop and the complimentary breakfast was very good and enjoyed in the Restraunt. ..decorated so warmly for Christmas. Great Service. Will come again.
RecommendedWe stay at here every time we drive down.the people are so nice ,the food for diner is excellent.the breakfast is a full meal and give us a full container of coffee for the road.Great Place
