Husband and I wanted some filet mignons but didn’t want to spend $45 each at a restaurant. We picked up two filets for $21 each. Seasoned them, put them on the blackstone, flipping every minute until they reached an internal temp of 145 degrees, took them off the grill, let them rest for 7 minutes with a slice of salted butter on top. Staff is great. Nice place. Here's the thing. I drive 20 min outside of town and didnt spend money. Why is the price of beef local more expensive than beef shipped in from outside the USA? I was told the prices went up recently by the farmer due to lack of sales. Well ya think? Your charging $3/ pound more then hyvee. Collapsing system.
