RecommendedWe came to Clarity for a dear friend’s birthday celebration last night. The whole experience there was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, especially being served in the “kitchen counter,” a room for small groups with a glass entrance looking right out at the busy kitchen! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Fabulous food. We sat at the kitchen counter. A great time watching the staff in action! Plus, we got random tastes of other dishes being made and time to talk about wines and scotch with the head chef. Warning, it does get warm I that section during the rush;-)
Excellent food, first class service, one of my favorite restaurants :). Menu changes almost daily, and the next dish always seems to be better than the last. Finally made it to Clarity. Fabulous dinner last night from Chef Jon and his staff for our guys night out! We tried nearly all the dishes off the menu as well as a couple that weren't on there. Food was amazing - loved the goat Gemelli and the pork, veal and beef short ribs! Service was excellent, especially given those noisy raucous PITAs who sat at our table (excluding well-behaved me of course).
Clarity is hands down one of the best restaurants in the DMV.

Long story short, I came here because it was recommended by my friends. Staff was friendly, but the food was very overpriced. The Tasting Menu was nice, but nothing amazing.
Wow! Another incredible meal \ experience at Clarity. We attended a dinner tonight that surpassed all others. The potato cloud that accompanied the wagyu steak was heavenly. Once again, Jon rises above all,others with his accommodations for those of us with food allergies without a hiccup.
John and his crew has a wonderful setup with good food and fine selection of drinks
