Don't let the rating bother you! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, the AC was cold, the wifi worked (and was truly free), the free breakfast was pretty good, and getting downtown was easy. You have to forgive it that it is stuck half way through renovations. Sure the ceiling tiles didn't match, the elevator says "Holiday Inn" on it, and you have to go around the pool for food. But really, I loved my stay.

This hotel was okay. When my fiancé and I stayed here the summer of 2013 during a concert downtown, we got a room on the second level floor. The elevator was broken at the time, but we were prepared for this as we read the reviews beforehand, plus we didn't have hardly any luggage and it really doesn't hurt to climb up two flights of stairs!
