The Staff are all awesome and take such good care of the Veterans entrusted to them.
Had a stroke (approx 15 mos ago) nurses are almost what I would say "too nice" they do almost everything but wipe your butt. Still here I'd say 85% recovered.
My father was a resident at the VA. The staff always saw to his needs with smiles and hugs! Can't say enough to show our appreciation esp towards the staff on 2A ♡
My dad received excellent end of life care there. His doctor, nurses, hospice workers were top notch. He loved to fish in the pond. I'm so grateful for the whole team including the social workers and cafeteria staff and business office. It was a family atmosphere.
I love this place and the guys we take care of. It's not purfect but there is no such place.
To for us to kinda give back to the soldiers that fought for us. I love the residents they are awesome. The stories are awesome
My husband is a retired AF Lt. Col. He collapsed from a Brain Aneurysm on Jan. 2, 2009. He has been in the VA Hospital in Claremore, OK since Sept. 1, 2009 after months in ICU and the Hospital as well as a Nursing Home. To my dismay, and to many others, we are outraged that he gets ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFITS in the Hospital! We are now being sued by the VA because we cannot pay for his care...this is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! They say he DOESN'T QUALIFY???
