We love the Clamdigger Our family has been many times. We love the homey feel and the fact that its right on the beach. The staff is very patient with kids, the restaurant is well run and tasty. We really hate the fact that they allow smoking in the lobby, and in fact, some staff, themselves, smoke. We love the fact that they allow dogs for a small deposit. Best breakfast on island
Don't eat here unless you are 70 years old and like mediocre food. :/
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is it! The beds aren't great and the pillows suck though.
At night, look left down the beach and just off shore, on a clear night, you can see Cape Lookout flashing.
Best place in town
Food was not great. Service was slow. Will not be back to eat here.
