We have used CJS for our last 2 routine checks & have found their company and the technician to be an asset. During the first check, the tech, Danny Pratt, discovered an issue that occ'd during the initial install, which was completed by another HVAC company. Instead of offering CJS fix the issue, he suggested I contact the original company. His professionalism & integrity saved our family over $1000 as the original company repaired the issue. CJS was great from start to finish. I called for a diagnostic issue and they had a technician out within an hour. The technician was great, he walked me through every step he was taking and was open and honest about pricing. The entire team was professional and extremely efficient in resolving the issues I was having with my furnace. Thank you CJS!

I am extremely disappointed in CJS. I had used Swiss Air in Columbus, OH for many years and was very happy (they were bought by CJS). I've tried to give CJS a chance over the last couple years but they just seem to get worse and worse on customer service. At the beginning they never called to schedule the spring/fall maintenance that I was paying for but always charged the monthly fee. I would have to remember myself, and call to remind them. Called them for furnace maintenance, tech was great, seemed to do a good job. Price was fair. My disappointment came when trying to have them do additional work for me. Looking to get an air purification system installed and an upgrade to my whole house humidifier. Found out that their pricing on the air purifier was twice of what many others charge. They were also high on the humidifier. Called to try to negotiate, even questioned if they would install the purification unit if I purchased the hardware from Amazon (at a 3rd ... read more

I am very disappointed with CJS HVAC. We have had a service contract with CJS for a few years. My Mother is 86 years old and I live 500 miles away. I firmly believe they were trying to take advantage of this situation based upon the following: (A) Service Tech stated that system had 2.7 #'s of coolant (i.e. old system, not current coolant or freon) in it and, when empty or filled from empty, would require 4 #'s.
