Decided to check out Civil Kitchen while in Springfield. Restaurant is located in trendy downtown area. Restaurant has three bars and outside seating. We had grilled chicken breast sandwiches with sirauchi Mayo and salad. Breasts were butterflied and extremely tender. We also had gooey butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream. My son Chase works there as a cook so extra pleased with food and service.
Love this place and it's staff. Great food for great price. Fantastic atmosphere for everyone.

We Just tried this place for the first time and it was fantastic. Portions were huge and very yummy! The oven was down and they STILL had our food out very fast . Our waiter ,Muskrat , was very helpful ! Never been to a restaurant where the waiter knew everything about everything on the menu ! So knowledgeable and helpful , and helped us pick the best food for our tastes . Definitely going again .
Muskrat was super helpful and prompt. I had a hot toddy and hot buttered rum, both of which were most excellent.
