I can only think that because I was a single patron, I didn't warrant good service from Giovanni. It took more than 10 minutes for him to even acknowledge that I had been seated. I'd already seen him TWICE talking to the table by me, so I know he saw that he had a new table. He didn't engage in conversation, took my order and barely spoke when he served my food. Wow! What's not to like?!? The food is amazing, and the service is impeccable. Our glasses were never empty. They bring bread with pesto to start... so good. I ordered ricotta pasta with sausage, my hubs got risotto with mushrooms. If I had room, I would have gotten dessert. The only downside is no kids menu, but they would have done a half order of pasta if we had wanted. Our kid just picked off our plates and ate lots of bread. Will recommend to everyone who visits San Diego.

Great food, risotto was delicious and the sauce they serve at the beginning is amazing! Would give 5 stars but the waiter, all thought "nice", seemed as he just woken up 😴
