I joined but never used my membership and decided to cancel my wife's and mine. I did mine online with the company, and their website said that for the cancelation to be validated, a letter of cancelation must also be sent to their corporate office, which I also did. They are still charging my credit card. A few weeks ago, I was forced to pay my wife's membership again by phone to be able to cancel her membership. I explained to her that we would be moving and she said, I would be able to cancel if I moved somewhere that does not have an LA Fitness.
