Miss my Hometown...... always look forward to going back home.
I love living in this town and have been here for over 10 years. I'm truly impressed with how the City worked diligently to find out what our citizens want living here. Are there some growing pains, yes, but from when I moved here to now, I can actually see the progress being made from the forums we had a couple years ago. Good job! Looking forward to more improvements!
I am sick and tired of the city spending money on everything but more lae enforcement, there is a drunken brawl every weekend on our street and the police department can't come out be ause there are not enough officers. By the time they get here it's iver and the drunks are out driving around the city. I pay city and county taxes and when there were shots fired the Tuesday after Christmas it took forever to get an officer here because they were so short handed, not even a deputy cause they to are short handed. Loved the fireworks but someone dropped the ball on this new location, North Waterfront Park. I am a paraplegic and use a manual wheelchair to get around and the park was not ADA accessible at all. To start with there was no sidewalks to get to the location and I had to wheel though a construction site with a gravel and mud drive way that would have been inaccessible had I not had the help of my brother. Then the park was not any better shape the grass was knee high is some spots with mud and deep ruts, where you would need ... read more
Beautiful place but its getting very overcrowded. For someone under 18 theres really nothing to do either.
