Received a 'red light ticket' in March off Market St. heading back to Jacksonville - following my mom being put on life support at New Hanover hospital. When I called Safelight to possibly waive the ticket under special circumstances, the rep's response: 'Well, it looks like you were on your way back from the hospital, so it couldn't have been that much of an emergency'. I have always seen Wilmington as a beautiful and calming city by the ocean. It's a place with lots of history that makes visitors feel relaxed and welcomed. One day I hope to make this my home.
This is my home town and it has really grown into a very beautiful and progressive city. I love it and hope to return one day for more than just a visit.
