I am out raged by a post about the triathlon. Let me explain why I was IRRITATED. I am a night shift nurse who works 12 hour shifts and to had to endure some “triathlon “ to get home so I can sleep. I’m pissed that whomever wrote said comment called those of us, who pay taxes and were obviously irritated as myself, gluttons. Please stop with this over building! You are destroying the trees and what use to be a beautiful city. The systems here like sewer, schools and the roads are over saturated. Traffic backed up every where you try to go. You should fix the potholes. They are unavoidable and they damage your vehicle. I moved here in 1972. It was a beautiful place. I understand growth but I don’t understand building on every little crumb of land. How many more apartments and condos does Wilmington need?? They certainly are not affordable housing... read more

this city is trying to keep up with massive growth and is doing a fairly good job. lots of trees and green space, love the history and beauty of downtown.
