As a musician (woodwind) playing in Michiana clubs, I pray that Mishawaka will get with program and join the smoking ban. If all our clubs were non-smoking (inside), there would be no $ advantage/ disadvantage. I stinks that a musicians best venues are places that are harming our health. Another bartender freind of mine just died from lung cancer- she didn't smoke (unless you count being at work)
I was wondering which of you clowns I should have pay for my vehicle repair. There have got to be dog sled trails in far better shape than your roads. I especially like how I have to give you a star rating to post this. Maybe rather than stars, you could use a pothole icon or broken axle to denote your level of incompetence. Assuming some of you are elected officials will ensure that I vote accordingly. Total embarrassment.
Sad to see the city auction on the news this morning ... yet didn't know anything about it until after the fact. Wish it would have been posted on here.
We need to give a special thanks to the men who work for The City of Mishawaka – Water Division. They have been working 14 to 18 hours straight every day since last Wednesday. Thawing out water lines to people’s homes. We appreciate your tireless effort, braving the weather, taking time out away from your family and friends, to bring us water. Thank you, Randy Ellsworth, Aaron Decocker, Nick Standfield, Mario Brioli, Dell Allen, Trent Franks, Jay Plummer, and Carl Smith, Please accept my apology if I’ve forgotten anyone.
I'm amazed. Mishawaka did a good job clearing the streets, but the streets are nothing but ice now. South Bend has a travel warning, as does St. Joseph County. Why doesn't Mishawaka? Is Mishawaka on some kind of elevated island that I'm unaware of???
