Good thing Mishawaka got rid of all the geese, it's much nicer in the parks...oh wait more just moved in....hmmmm research a little better next time. Geese will fly up to 10 miles for food. So killing them all in one area does nothing for you. Plus they are migratory so more will come and stick around. It's a problem no doubt and population control is needed. Maybe see what other cities are doing about their Goose problems

Thank you for eliminating an invasive species from our parks. The geese are not native to this area and chased out the duck population by being acressive and too much competition for food and nesting sites

City of Mishawaka and Mayor Dave Woods should be ashamed for demanding the geese removed be killed instead of resettling them. The South Bend Tribune article I read said the company would have resettled them for the exact same price. Why cruelly kill 400 innocent geese when they could have been spared. I use to visit you restaurants and bars, and attend your festivals but will boycott your city till you change your policy on killing geese.

With a leader like Cruel Mayor Dave Wood who cruelly choose killing the geese removed when they could have been resettled for the same price. What a cruel evil man.

Really disappointed in the taking of innocent lives because we cant share the earth. I will no longer be visiting Mishawaka parks, as I do not support your murderous ideals. We made a place to VISIT where they LIVE. But the selfishness of the government reigns supreme

Sad about Mishawaka getting rid of the geese in the parks. We're they euthanized? I guess if a goose was unlucky enough to land in one of your parks, they probably aren't around any longer. I don't agree with this.
