Terrific atmosphere, service & food! Slowly but surely picking my "Favorite Flavors of Florence" with every visit (life-long Birminghamian myself, Florence is my wife's hometown) & City Hardware just got added to my top three northwest Al. eats! The crispy, fried catfish filet topped with andouille & shrimp sauce with jasmine rice & broccoli is a MUST for catfish lovers...really, this place is a MUST for any local foodies/out-of-town foodies lucky enough to be in this upbeat, hip area. First time eating there yesterday. The service was really good. & The Best Food Ever!! So Good!! Favorite place to eat now. I would recommend the crab cakes, or steak sandwich.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Excellent Service. Definitely worth the drive.
This was my first time eating at City Hardware. Our sandwiches were good but the bread brought to our table was covered in mold. We had ordered dessert but, due to me having a weak stomach, I was unable to eat any of it.
Nice staff and excellent food. My kids were welcome here and they enjoyed the food, too.
