As a connoisseur of "Shrimp and Grits", I can say confidently City Grocery does it right!
Ham hock pimento cheese croquettes will make you slap yo' mamma. The hoisin marinated shrimp on a bed of crunchy rice noodles sent me to an Asian paradise. The red fish though...otherworldly.
My very favorite restaurant in Oxford, and one of my favorites in the world. If you get the chance to experience City Grocery and the Oxford Square, do it!
