For that price...no more white paper tablecovers! Set in the quaint town of Oxford, MS, City Grocery offers a nice (if not a little on the TOO spicy side) menu. The ambience is nice EXCEPT for the white PAPER over the white linen tablecloths. The prices are high enough, I was expecting to dine on white linen instead of white paper! A treat City Grocery has long been my favorite place to eat in Oxford. Not only do they have amazing food, but they also have a beautiful and very classy dining space. The shrimp and grits are known all over the world but really, everything on their menu is top notch PROS: great food, great atmosphere CONS: pricey

Highly anticipated highly disappointed. Shrimp and grits very bland the person who was suppose to be the server was a order taker. There’s a huge difference.
