Food was average and price was above average. Staff was very nice. Expected more since it is highly rated.
I’ve been there twice. First time I got the stuffed pork chop which was amazing! The last time I got the shrimp and grits which was even better! By far my favorite restaurant in Oxford.
Simply amazing! From the friendly staff to the to die for shrimp and grits. It doesn't get much better! This is a must visit. The fellow customers at the bar were from three different states and all were told you have got to go to City Grocery. Never ceases to satisfy.
I call The Square in Oxford ‘Little Charleston’ because it is really hard to find a bad meal. City Grocery was amazing. The Shrimp ‘n Grits were a fest for the palate. My wife’s short ribs were like butter melting in your mouth.
