Brakes were squeaking so I decided to check out how much they would cost...Marlon offered a free brake check so I said why not. I already knew the problem but let's see how much this would cost me. He gave me a quote cheaper then my sister's boyfriend, AND it comes with a warranty, so I had to jump on it.
I go there regularly for oil changes. Just recently I heard a noise from the back of my car, Marlon is awesome. He took it for a test drive and knew exactly what it was. He fixed it the same day and fast.
I've been going to these guy for about a year and waited to leave a report because with some mechanics its really good at first then they try and gouge you for money but not with Marlon and his crew. They have always been very honest about any work thats needed and are priced very fair. I highly recommend City Garage! Thank you!!
They did a great job. I went in to get an oil change and they let me know a tire was bad so I was able to get 2 new tires that instant.
So glad I found these guys! When I pulled in the driveway, they "heard" the trouble that another repair shop couldn't find after having my car for 2 days! I hesitate to say too many good things, because if they get too busy, well, it will be harder to get in there!! LOL :-) It turns out that the "popcorn popping" sound I was hearing was the lower control rods arms and sway bar links... just hearing those words flashed giant red $$$$$$ before my eyes.
I've been going somewhere else for over a decade - City Garage is my permanent mechanic, and I've already referred a couple of family members there.
Nothing but great things to say about the guys at City Garage. We took my wife's 06 mini cooper s to get new front rotors and ceramic pads. 1st off, mini dealer of long beach quoted us close to 800 for the fronts with labor and everything. Of course we all know dealer is way overpriced.
I've seen their work so I trusted them with this job. They did a great job overall!
They got started on my car as soon as I got there, so I was in & out of the shop within 30 minutes. Service was great, there were enough workers to accommodate all the other customers that were there.
