We take the mess out of bath time with our unique, state-of-the-art self-service tubs and grooming stations. We currently have two groomers on staff. We also carry premium dog food and dog treats. Recommendedbeen coming here for years, Sarge is now 8 and has been here since he was a puppy, and Lucky before him. Great place, always clean and ready for our self wash. Staff has always been great and are attentive. There are many places closer to us in National City, but we choose to drive downtown to City Dog.
I love that there is a self-groom option here but I know I can’t do as good of a job as City Dog groomer Aly. She treats each dog like her own. My senior dog Cocoa absolutely loves her and feels much more comfortable in her capable hands than anywhere else. Go visit Aly at City Dog ASAP! 🐶🐾

This place is amazing!! Not only are their groomers fantastic, they sell every product you could possibly want or need for your pet!! The whole staff is friendly and always willing to help and answer your questions!!! You will not be disappointed!! My favorites are Gary (owner), Andrea (groomer) and Jasmine (manager). 💕💕
The owner Gary has a true love for dogs. He is very knowledgeable about nutrition. The owner helped me so much with Rusty one of my foster dogs. Then he adopted Rusty. The employees are kind and helpful. The store and grooming salon are immaculate. I highly recommend this place. They have a vet who comes in once a month to provide dental cleanings for a reasonable price.
Nice staff, clean store and offer a lot of items and services. Grooming and Self wash available.. i haven had my little ones groomed there yet but planning on it. I have seen some dogs that were groomed there.. excellent work and saw a coupe all decked out in what looked like a purple leopard print!! And another with stars and stripes.. they were amazing!
bought me a couple of carriers from here and they were really great about this and everything else
Awful. I spent $65 for my dog to look the same. Now I have to get her groomed AGAIN. 3 1/2 hour sitting around in downtown too. This place sucks. I want my money back.
