Absolute dump. Rented here for a year and what a waste of money. Elevators were consistently unreliable. Would select the first floor and be dropped off in the basement more times than not. Random fees added to rent such as air return filters, carpet cleaning, etc. Was harassed by Ed when we left, he claimed I broke the lease and when I questioned him about it he literally told me I was unstable and he questioned my ability to perform in my career field… I guess there’s a reason Ed has the reputation he does in Mason City… w... read more

Be careful with Ed kent. Make sure that you completely read and follow the agreement that you signed. He may be well within his rights but he does not play nice. Kirk apartments on North Federal are a mess. There were ceiling tile missing when I moved in and I was told they would be replaced quickly. 4 months later no tile. The entryway is a sty. Full of leaves never swept never cleaned. In the 4 months I have been here I have never heard a vacuum cleaner run in the hallway. The laundry equipment is filthy. If someone above ... read more

Had an appointment to check out a unit here, I was told 800 over the phone. We show up and all of a sudden it's 1200. The lady at the front desk, attitude sucks. She may need a course on diversity in the workplace. To put it plainly, she wasn't feeling my color.
