Citrus Club

4.1

About this business

Step off Haight Street into Citrus Club; soothing low-lit cafe/bar. Beer and a great selection of sakes offer thirst quenching. Hunger, on the other hand, will be more than satisfied by the wide range of noodle dishes. Generous portions of recipes from all over the Asian continent give you more than enough sustenance to brave the Haight again when your meal is through. As the name implies, many dishes here are seasoned with citrus to enhance the spicy flavors. Favorite dishes include coconut chicken with spicy lemon, and noo... read more

A Nice Surprise – Partner and I were looking for a bite to eat before a party, and stumbled upon this place when the joint we were heading to appeared to be out of business. What a nice surprise. We were seated immediately but quite a long line formed while we dined. We had Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls for appetizers and they were great. Partner had Shanghia Noodles and I had a Spicy Lemon Coconut chicken. Dishes were flavorful and well portioned. We each had a draft beer with our dinners and bill for all came to $30. A te... read more

Consistently good cheap eats! – The food is both good and inexpensive at the Citrus Club. I try to eat there at least once every few weeks, and I've never been disappointed. It's always lively, and is a good place to have dinner before heading out for drinks in the Haight.

yummy – We were going to go to Cha Cha Cha down the street but the wait was too long and we were too hungy. This was perfect. We'll definitely go back.

OH YUM! – I went to the Citrus CLub last night and was so surprised and thrilled with the food. We had the fresh shrimp spring rolls to start and they were to die for. We also enjoyed the garlinc edimame (sp?) very much. We had beef and shiitake mushrooms over noodles and it was great, as was the curry shrimp. YUM YUM YUM! The prices were fair, the service was solid, overall, a great night.

Best food on Haight – Haight is hardly a dining destination, but I was amazed by Citrus Club. The food was wonderful. Complex and well-balanced flavors, huge portions, and polite, friendly service have turned this into a regular stop for me whenever I'm looking for lunch on Haight. Best part is that the huge portions insure tasty leftovers.

Secret find! – This is my new favorite restaurant! I've walked by this place numerous times but never thought to go in because it didn't look too inviting from the outside. Once I saw how crowded it was one night, I decided to give it a chance. Citrus Club has great food, fun atmosphere, and unbelievable prices!
