Citrus Club

About this business

Step off Haight Street into Citrus Club; soothing low-lit cafe/bar. Beer and a great selection of sakes offer thirst quenching. Hunger, on the other hand, will be more than satisfied by the wide range of noodle dishes. Generous portions of recipes from all over the Asian continent give you more than enough sustenance to brave the Haight again when your meal is through. As the name implies, many dishes here are seasoned with citrus to enhance the spicy flavors. Favorite dishes include coconut chicken with spicy lemon, and noo... read more

Yumy Yum! – My favorite restaurant in Upper Haight. This small place is easy to miss but the smell lures you in. Try the Hot & Sour Veg. Soup, springrolls, and the garlic house edamame...delicious! A perfect place to warm up on a cold and foggy night.

Delicious!! – A great place to get together for a casual lunch or dinner. No one has mentioned anything about their soups -- and they deserve a mention! Fantastic soups, and plenty of them in a serving! Hands down, one of the best noddle places in the city!

A Nice Surprise – Partner and I were looking for a bite to eat before a party, and stumbled upon this place when the joint we were heading to appeared to be out of business. What a nice surprise. We were seated immediately but quite a long line formed while we dined. We had Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls for appetizers and they were great. Partner had Shanghia Noodles and I had a Spicy Lemon Coconut chicken. Dishes were flavorful and well portioned. We each had a draft beer with our dinners and bill for all came to $30. A te... read more

Consistently good cheap eats! – The food is both good and inexpensive at the Citrus Club. I try to eat there at least once every few weeks, and I've never been disappointed. It's always lively, and is a good place to have dinner before heading out for drinks in the Haight.

yummy – We were going to go to Cha Cha Cha down the street but the wait was too long and we were too hungy. This was perfect. We'll definitely go back.

OH YUM! – I went to the Citrus CLub last night and was so surprised and thrilled with the food. We had the fresh shrimp spring rolls to start and they were to die for. We also enjoyed the garlinc edimame (sp?) very much. We had beef and shiitake mushrooms over noodles and it was great, as was the curry shrimp. YUM YUM YUM! The prices were fair, the service was solid, overall, a great night.
