Citrus Club

4.1

About this business

Step off Haight Street into Citrus Club; soothing low-lit cafe/bar. Beer and a great selection of sakes offer thirst quenching. Hunger, on the other hand, will be more than satisfied by the wide range of noodle dishes. Generous portions of recipes from all over the Asian continent give you more than enough sustenance to brave the Haight again when your meal is through. As the name implies, many dishes here are seasoned with citrus to enhance the spicy flavors. Favorite dishes include coconut chicken with spicy lemon, and noo... read more

Chicken Noodle Soup, can't find a better one – We live in the neighborhood and frequently visit the Citrus Club. They have very tasty noodles at a great price. I am partial to the Chicken Noodle Soup (perfect for a cold foggy day or when you are feeling a little under the weather), but have tried their other dishes and enjoy them. Give the spring rolls a chance, they are delicious. If you get a chance Citrus Club is one of the places you should visit, don't let its exterior fool you.

I Loooove this place – I love The Citrus Club, the first time i took a group of friends here and we waited about 30-40 mins to be seated since it was a saturday night. the food smelled SOOOO good while waiting in line and when we finally sat down and got our food, it tasted just as good as it smelled. the waiters were very friendly and the place has a nice feel to it. however its very loud, crowded, and dark so its probably not very good to bring large families/kids. the shanghai noodles is deliciousss! definitly a wonderful... read more

Citrus Clubbed. – Some restaurants that shouldn't have an open kitchen, especially if what you see are dudes slinging woks around a worn out kitchen and cooking from pre-packed baggies. The place feels like it has a layer of grease over everything. I was expecting Citrusy- freshness. I love dive-y places, but this place was a dive with attitude. The servers were more interested in gossiping than interacting with customers. The whole place was empty, but they made me wait at the bar for my friends. I tried the "famous" garlic... read more

Great stop if you're ever in Upper Haight! =) – We went with a party of 8 and the experience was great overall; service is good, the dishes were big and tasty at an affordable price. Although, my fiance won't vouch for his Beef Noodle Soup, he did really like the Edamame, Thai Iced Tea, and my chow fun dish. The Garlic Edamame was so good that some of the people at our table also ordered more of it to-go.

Great food at a great price – Definitely check out this restaurant. Its delicious! The beef satay is awesome and the chicken noodle soup actually tastes really authentic. The prices are great and the service is the best. There's usually a line for dinner, but the wait is pretty quick. Oh, and make sure you're not in a sweater, cause it can get kinda warm in there.

Yumy Yum! – My favorite restaurant in Upper Haight. This small place is easy to miss but the smell lures you in. Try the Hot & Sour Veg. Soup, springrolls, and the garlic house edamame...delicious! A perfect place to warm up on a cold and foggy night.

Citrus Club is a great Haight Street destination The Citrus Club on Haight Street is a great dining experience. They have a wonderful and very affordable variety of noodles, udon soups, and mixed drinks. Especially great are the garlic roasted edamame beans. The service is always prompt and friendly. I would recommend getting a table rather than eating at the bar as the ovens can get a bit toasty at times.

Delicious!! – A great place to get together for a casual lunch or dinner. No one has mentioned anything about their soups -- and they deserve a mention! Fantastic soups, and plenty of them in a serving! Hands down, one of the best noddle places in the city!
