I've lived here for nearly 6 years and have seen major improvements over the past 2 years. The building was painted inside and out; new hall carpeting and lobby/elevator flooring; new light fixtures throughout; completely new custom landscaping outside with the addition of elegant exterior lighting; a comprehensive security system of cameras everywhere; and they just finished a total remodel of the laundry room with 4 brand new washers and 4 brand new dryers all of which use an app as opposed to quarters. I have lived here for almost 2 years now while attending CSUN and I must say, it has been amazing! It is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants and is walking distance from CSUN. I have never had an issue getting a hold of maintenance and management either, they're always super helpful! It is definitely a great place to live!
Please avoid this place! Roaches everywhere! Impossible to get rid off. Requesting maintenance in this place was a nightmare.. so unresponsive. Lana the landlord would make you feel like you were the cause of the problem. I have lived here 2 years duration unfortunately. Recently moved out December 2021 and yet still have no received my deposit now in May 2022. She has avoided me and has not had contact with me. You can see by the multiple reviews everywhere that this place is pleasant.
Rent much too high for building and street and asking for too much to move in, hallways look like a cheap motel and the onsite manager is strict for no reason and be careful with the deposit because I basically got mine stolen. Stay away unless you have no other option
I have lived here now one year. I heard about the bed bug and cockroach problem before moving in. I lived in a fancy place before and they got an occasional cockroach. Well they sprayed and got in professional in for the building before we moved in. Plus I know how to prevent infestation. Bugs have not been a problem because if it was I would not have renewed my lease. Any time I need something fixed- it is done is a timely manner and the managers are very professional.
