The lotus center is absolutely garbage. They say "We are not a homeless shelter so we can't provide beds" like human comfort and compassion should come with limitations. They serve the same exact food as jail does despite not being a jail center at all. And the worst thing they did is kick me out while I was triggered and having a PTSD episode for "yelling and being disrespectful" without even trying to reason with me or give me a warning, and didnt provide any resources or options for me to go. The worst hell hole next to what I imagine prison would be like. Co-ed without any security. Severely disturbed male who was supposedly housed in a separate room for “safety sake”… was allowed to roam the halls all night. Would walk sliding his slippers up and down the halls lurking. All lights on, people yelling all night. Roommate is so drugged up that she cried constantly. Very upset with my loved one’s stay here. The facility was dirty, the food was terrible, it was disturbingly understaffed, and her mom and dad drove up from Modesto to visit her and they denied us entry for visitation. Her parents and I went to target to buy her clothes and I brought some rash cream. They lost the cream and misplaced a few articles or clothing. If I could give 0 stars I would.
