Great selection of foreign movies This place is a little packed but they offer a wide selection of foreign movies, which i like! But well, forget about the big aisles, this is a place where you have to search... The staff is pretty helpful (they can give you real good suggestions) and nice. However, the hours and prices are not the best. Obscure titles for any taste Amazing selection and diversity of films. Any genre or type of movie you feel like seeing is here. Go here if you want to find a movie you can't find anywhere else, and chances are they have it, or can dig it up. Prices are good, considering the rarity of some titles, and the staff are true movie buffs that can recommend a little-known gem to satisfy your needs.
Like Vidiots in Santa Monica, this is a great alternative to Blockbuster. Lots of Hard to Find selections.
Why are you still going to Blockbuster... ...when this place is about four blocks down Santa Monica Boulevard? This place has all kinds of DVDs and VHS movies, including ones that are hard to find and out of print. It's staffed by people who know and care a lot about movies, so their taste rarely lets you down. Be careful though--some of their foreign movies are not region-free, so you should make sure that your DVD player is. They stock movies of all ratings, too, which warms my heart.

They have a good selection of movies organized into categories like speghetti westerns and horror franchises. RecommendedA true treasure for movie lovers - so lucky to have a place to rent DVDs of all eras and genes - classics - rarities - cult - TV - foreign - and always the latest popular releases for holdouts from Netflix and Amazon. If you miss the vibe of Vidiots - this is the spot for you.
I have seen some video rental places. This one is more simple and straightforward. Like an old man full of stories to be discovered rather than a young kid bragging about his adventure.
