I was referred to Dr. Silufo four years ago. At the time I had some herniated disc issues and severe pain. I was on a handful of pain killers. When I saw him he told me he surgery wasn’t the answer and to stop using tobacco and my pain would go away. Obviously I was furious and cursed him all the way home. This guy is an absolute joke. He is very unprofessional and very very rude. He is very condescending and doesn’t take into account the emotion of the patient or the pain that they’re in. Not only was he rude but all he did was talk about how great he is. But let me tell you he is not great he’s a hack. Always get a second opinion if you Wind up in his care because he will mess you up beyond words.
He ruined me. Misdiagnosed me. Gave me a surgery that ended up giving me two brain diseases. Please run the other way. Can’t believe he’s still able to have access to people….
Dr. Cilluffo gave me back the ability to walk again. He accepted me as a patient when no one in the area would consider me. I cannot say enough good things about his incredible skill in giving me a new back and getting me comfortably on my feet again. Also, the office receptionist is warm and friendly and very helpful. Dr. Cilluffo is a 10 in my book. God bless you, doctor.
I have been seeing her for ten years and she has done a great job of clearing up sun damage and getting rid of dangerous growths.

Cilluffo said that, because my wife’s fracture wasn’t healing sufficiently, if she didn’t have surgery, she’d have to wear a brace for the rest of her life. He said he would schedule the surgery right then, if we liked. If we didn’t believe him, he said, we could ask any other neurosurgeon, and he or she would tell us the same things. We consulted two other neurosurgeons, one of them on the faculty of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Emily was so kind and compassionate. She was patient and understanding during my emotional breakdown trying to deal with some unknown rash all over my torso. She did her best to get me some relief and was kind enough to have me come back in immediately for any new rash that appeared. It did and she was true to her word - got me in immediately and was able to biopsy the new rash for a final diagnosis.
After an unsuccessful surgery with Cilluffo, we went to a different doctor. When he saw what Cilluffo had done, he took everything out and started all over again. The new doctor's surgery was a success.
