I love this new restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I recently tried this Mexican restaurant while on vacation. We had no idea we would be there during the grand opening week! The ambiance was nice, the restaurant was clean, and their bar covered in Pesos was a fun feature to see. We got takeout orders of the three taco combo. The flavor for the barbacoa and carne asana tacos was great, but there was about a tablespoon of meat to each tortilla and the tortillas weren't doubled or tripled and were falling apart because of it. The beans had great flavor and the rice was average. The biggest let down was the portion size of everything. There was maybe a 1/4 cup each of rice and beans and then the meager meat filling. The chips and tomatillos salsa were very good, fresh tasting. Large sodas with free refills. Extensive adult beverage menu. Ordered the carne asade tacos and found them bland and very dry. Also ordered the shredded chicken quesadilla found it very bland and lacking a fresh flavor. Rice and beans sides also lacked flavor and tasted like they were from a can or commercially produced. Prices were reasonable, portions were good sized. Sadly, I will not rush to eat there again.
My dad likes this place so, we thought we would check it out. It took 15 minutes for us to be asked what we wanted to drink. We had chips and salsa right away. They are new, so, we have that a pass. We ordered the table side guacamole at medium heat and it was flavorless. We had to add the table salsa to it ourselves to give it some life. Had to wait a very long time for our food. The waitress was doing her best, but it seemed as though they were understaffed because it was various tables that had to wait for a very long time. No one at our table could eat the rice, because it tasted like it had gone bad and smelled unpleasant. On the upside the salsa and chips were great, and the horchata was delicious.
Great prices and friendly staff! My son and I went last night and I am already planning to go for tacos again this weekend- YUM!
The food was good. but the service and over charges on our credit cards and then having to wait 45 minutes to still have no resolution, we will never be back, ever!
The steak taco is amazing and flavorful and authentic!
