This mall does not allow performers to put out jars for tips and does not pay performers when they provide their time and talent to enhance the shopping experience. They put a piano and stages up in busy places, beg people to preform, and then rudely tell performers that they can’t collect tips. We will not be returning next year and will be petitioning Shirks to withdraw their support of this mall as well.
I have shopped at potomac mills over 20 years and I am outraged by the recent article in the Washington Post. Profiling African American teenagers and removing them without cause. IT is outragous and if this is how you are treating customers, I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere. What are you doing to resolve this matter?
Horrible treatment of innocent teenagers who happened to be black. Everyone in the metro area knows the story!
Boycott this mall over its treatment of African American teenagers. It seems to be policed by bigoted security guards.
Apparently, shopping while Black is frowned upon at Potomac Mills. If 5 Black teenagers can't quietly wander the stores for 45 minutes before deciding how to spend their money, then I shouldn't shop here either. Shame on you.
