The mall officials do not care about the wellbeing or safety of mall employees. Staying open is an ignorant decision and selfish one. We can’t control the weather but we can control the choices we make as business owners and employers. Because of choices this mall has made, risking the lives of every mall staff that had to work today, I will not be shopping at this mall anymore. Just disappointed in the fact that it’s the coldest day in record, officials are saying “DON’T GO OUT”, but the mall is so worried about the almighty dollar, they’re staying open. All they’re doing is costing the few businesses they have left money. They have to pay employees to come and sit in a ghost town of a mall. Not to mention putting the employees at risk. Good job UP Mall. Just reminds me why I hate going there.

RecommendedI barely do shopping, but they got me yesterday with their crazy deals. All the stores had everything out, like in fairs, for very low prices. I’ve never seen American eagles doing deals like that before. Even the teen who was running a kiosk by the food court, wish to remember the kiosk name, was so friendly and gave me discount without asking.
