Very thorough and knowledgeable. He took one look at my MRI and told me what he needed to do when other physicians wanted me to have more testing. I was very pleased with his staff and physician assistant. Highly recommend Dr. Ciccarelli. My outcome was excellent! So glad I went.
Dr. C told me what to expect. What to do. He is extremely punctual. His office personal are great.The impressive part was other healthcare professionals from other hospitals telling me how thorough he is. A coworker referred me. His surgery went as great as mine. Thankfully I had my surgery before permanent nerve damage. Other professionals told me I was aging. Dr.C fixed my problem and I no longer wear my left shoe off on the side. SO THANKFUL! I would recommend dr. Ciccarelli to anyone with back pain. I had lower back and leg pain and now I am pain free. I would say that he is the best in the Kansas City area.
No complaints about the surgery. Dr. C knew exactly what he was doing. Taking it easy after surgery is actually difficult because the pain is gone and I feel like I can do anything!
I wish I could leave a gazillion "likes" for Dr. Ciccarelli. He diagnosed a pinched sciatic nerve on my left side originating from my lower back, resulting in unbearable pain that prevented me from standing for more than a few seconds at a time. I tried other treatments -- chiropractic, spinal injections, medications -- nothing worked. He scheduled a laminotomy. The procedure was over before I knew it. The sciatic nerve pain was GONE. His professionalism and bedside manner was beyond incredible.
I was very apprehensive about any kind of surgery, let alone spinal surgery. After meeting with dr Ciccarelli, his p.a. And his staff, i was relieved and felt i was in good hands. After surgery, post surgery consultations and checkups... I would recommend dr Ciccarelli to my closest family members. Referring my family to Premier Spine Care isnt an issue, so of course I’d recommend it to a friend acquaintance or stranger. Friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Proficiency goes without saying.
I had been struggling with severe back pain for 6 months. I had tried all recommendations given yet got no relief. I was referred to Dr. Ciccarelli and for the first time I felt really listened to. After many months in severe pain, it was so welcomed. I ended up having surgery and through my entire process I was treated with such wonderful care. Even post surgery with minor issues I had to to an unknown allergy, he was available and genuinely cared. I have my life back!
I am so very grateful to Dr. Ciccarelli & Jason Douglas for all they have done for me over the past 7 months. I had a spinal fusion on L3-L4 & laminectomy without any complications & am now able to walk without pain. This was my first surgery ever (47 yrs old) & my scar is barely noticeable. They truly cared for my well being & I will be eternally grateful. The office is run seamlessly & I just can't say enough about their outfit as a whole.
Dr. Ciccarelli recently performed my 2nd back surgery. He & his team truly gave my life back to me & those that I care about. Over 14 months, a low back pain progressed to debilitating & I was hospitalized. During my stay, 1 surgeon diagnosed the necessity for surgery & the 2nd = continued physical therapy for significant degenerative disease. I sought a 3rd opinion with Dr. Ciccarelli.
