We attended the beignets breakfast, which is held the 1st Saturday of each month.These are wonderful, light an fresh! Best Ive ever had.A guitarist played, which was nice.It was a good experience.
Terrible first impression and experience this morning. After being on hold for 20 minutes, we placed a carry out order at 11 am to take to a friend's for lunch/football. I was told that that the kitchen didn't switch to lunch until 11:30 so our order would not be ready until 11:50. After waiting and driving (from the city) to pick it up, we were told that there was a miscommunication, the kitchen was still only preparing breakfast and our order was never prepared. I'm confused about Nikki's one start rating. Your local flavor says right on it for dine in only. You made a mistake- clearly- undeniable- but you're going to blame them? That is not fair. I've been going to Chucks for years- from the little stand on 79th street and kept with them as they've grown. Most of the time, they are 5 star, not that I haven't had a bit less through the evolution, but there is no better value on the southwest side for this quality of food. Went with my family of six, the BBQ was great ,the side and New Orleans dishes are good too. Good drink selection. Very down to Earth, everyday type of place. I would return without a doubt.
It's a good place to have a ribs but our selver is very impolite and disrespectful. She is rushing us to order our foods and you can tell that she doesn't have patience with customers. We were having a triple birthday celebrations and she really spoiled our day. She better straighten her moods specially we are good paying customers and gave her good tips even if her serviced to us is very poor. Kinda frustrating experience and won't recommend this place to my friends and family.
The food is great ribs and the tips are nice and tender!!!!
