Hope this location is better than the Kenner one! After calling a few times and not getting any response I decided to stop by and try to get my vehicle serviced. Walking in was a waste of time as well. Definitely won't be returning to Lakeshore CDJR if this the type of Service department they have.

I brought my 2021 Ram 1500 in to get some recalls taken care of. I dropped it off at 8 am and they called me at 1:30 pm to say it was ready. I'm pleased with the speed of service. But, I mentioned a check engine light and the code I was getting on my ODB reader. I was told there would be a $160 "diagnostic" fee to look into it. Really?? It takes me only 10 seconds to plug in my ODB reader to pull the codes. I am happy to pay a fee for actually fixing a problem, but I feel $160 is exorbitant for just plugging in a code reader... read more

Check engine light is on, went to autozone, got a code that indicates a pretty serious problem that could result in the vehicle getting stuck in Park resulting in the inability to use the vehicle, or getting stuck in gear resulting in the inability to crank the vehicle (or the vehicle could crank while in gear resulting in serious injury or damage). Service desk couldn't care less, stating "I only have one tech, there's nothing I can do. But, I have an opening in 1 month so you can bring it in then". That's not helpful at al... read more
