My experience was amazing. First cataract surgery was 6 years ago. Just had my second cataract surgery in February. Patience and understanding. I would recommend him for anyone who needs surgery. Staff was beyond kind and greatly appreciated it.
He did my Cataract surgery, and the results were nothing short of phenomenal. I wore glasses from an early age, but after the surgery, I only need reading glasses. He explained things in an easy to understand way, and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kardasis is very knowledgeable, but he has no regard for his patient's time. If you have a 10 am appointment, you may get to see him at 11:30am. Plus, the office needs to be cleaned and a new coat of pain and new chairs for the patients would be great.
Dr. Kardasis is very knowledgeable and is willing to answer any and all questions. He was very reassuring and everything with the surgery went as planned. Dr. Kardasis was very thorough with follow-up care. I found his office staff to be friendly and courteous.
AMAZING - No more reading glasses!
Dr. Kardasis made my cataract removals a painless and easy experience. He is very patient, friendly, and offers clear explanations each step of the way. Dr. Kardasis put me at ease so I had no anxiety. And best of all, my eyesight is awesomely better, just as he promised. His office staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Kardasis!
Dr. Kardasis was knowledgeable and informative doing my visit. However, over a one hour wait to be seen! After the dilating drops were put in my eyes, I realized the doctor had not washed his hands when he left the room as I sat waiting an additional 15-20 minutes. Furthermore, the black 'thingy' one hold to cover an eye to see the exam chart was never cleaned as it laid on the counter, no antiseptic wipes displayed. I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Kardasis at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Il. Although I was a little nervous at first, Dr. K put me at ease and the surgery went very well. There was very little discomfort and recovery time was minimal. I have been seeing Dr. K for 25-30 years and I feel he is an outstanding physician. He takes his time with all his patients and he communicates very well. I highly recommend him!!
At my first appointment Dr. Kardasis was most informative, answered all my questions, made me feel at ease with the idea of cataract surgery. His skill I believe is extraordinary and bedside manner is exceptional. My second surgery was no different than the first - he was attentive before and after surgery, again quite informative, calming and reassuring. Follow up visits proved that any and all of my concerns were addressed, answered and cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any and all eye care!
