Dr. Phelps was very caring and explained everything that was going on with my knee. Told me what my options were and recommended what I should do. I’m so glad I found a caring and kind Doctor. The staff were kind also.

Dr. Phelps was recommended by my PCP a few years ago for an elbow injury and I had a good experience so when I could no longer manage the pain in my knee I was referred again. When I tried to explain what was going on it was obvious Dr. Phelps had already made up his mind with no imaging or even a cursory exam of my knee. I was given a lecture on how we all need to take it easy as we age (I'm 54). Dr Phelps is an outstanding Orthopedic Surgen, he is compassion and listens to you and takes his time to answer your questions. He explains throughly the procedure, his personality puts you at ease. The office staff and PA are excellent support staff. I had a total left knee replacement on Oct . 22 2018, no post op complications and knee pain , I highly recommended Dr Phelps, I am so satisfied with Dr Phelps that I plan to have my right knee replacement with Dr Phelps .

Dr Phelps did a total reverse shoulder replacement 2 weeks ago. this is the first surgery that I have experience no pain or discomfort. I am 74 years of age, and had more than 20 surgeries. This has been the easiest surgery of them all. Dr. Phelps and his staff are outstanding

I have already recommended a family member to Dr. Phelps, and he is scheduling knee replacement surgery in August. I personally had total knee replacement surgery on both of my knees, with 6 weeks between the surgeries. I am totally satisfied with the complete experience! When the bandage was taken off after 3 weeks, the scarring was extremely minimal. Recovery, healing, therapy and return to better than normal was fantastic! I highly recommend him, even if the wait time to surgery is long.

Broke my ankle and Dr Phelps was able to see me the next day. Surgery scheduled for the next week. The PA, Jose is the best. Have nothing but great things to say about Dr Phelps.

Had my right knee replaced on 10/18/2016. Was sent home on 10/20/2016. Have had very little pain was completely off of all pain meds. on 10/22/2016. Had PT 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Today is 5 weeks post op. Walking with a cane but do not think I need it. I get very little if any pain when doing my exercise. Is a little stiff but very little when I first get out of bed in the AM. Like I said I am 5 weeks post op today and my range of motion is at 120 deg. Dr. Phelps is the best!!!!!

Dr. Phelps is a very caring and compassionate Doctor, while also being very professional, knowedable, and experienced. I had an anterior tissue sparing total hip replacement after having had 2 previous arthroscopic hip surgeries several years before, performed by other physicians. Following surger I have had very little pain, less actually than following arthroscopic surgery. I was able to stand and walk with a walker the same day surgery was performed.
