When I first moved to Birmingham I went to Dr. Olds and he told me that nothing was wrong with me. I was being treated for FSGS in another state and he didn’t believe me. I changed doctors and of course UAB got the right records. I had a transplant 14 years ago and it still bothers me that he had no patience to treat me. I remember Dr. Olds snapped at me and said nothing is wrong with you. You didn’t see anything on the ultrasound he ordered. Thank God that I got away from him.
