The emergency dept. told me this 95-year-old was diagnosed with metastasized bone and brain cancer. This was discovered by a CT scan that was performed at the ER. We were told to contact Dr. McKibbon for instruction. We made an appointment with Dr. McKibbin. He came in and said nothing. I follow him out the door and say what about his cancer? He shows me a report from the urologist from December that said non metastasized prostate cancer. I tell him that is wrong. He walks off like I'm lying. I pulled up the report that says... read more
If you have test results to get a biopsy from the radiologist don't expect a call from him or an apology. He has no feelings whatsoever.

Did not perform thorough physical examination at routine annual physical including mouth/oral examination. Developed a life threatening condition possibly missed at physical and subsequent Wilmington Health virtual visits including one with him. When given feedback concerning this became argumentative. Does NOT take time with patient. Does NOT listen. Does NOT read chart. Does NOT remember you from last appointment. Does NOT look at big picture. DOES however stay on schedule.

Dr. McKibbin spent a lot of time with me at this first appointment, going through my records, talking about prior tests/results, etc., and coming up with a plan going forward. Very knowledgeable, very personable, and made me feel very comfortable.
Been seeing him for several years. Often had to wait in the examining room for up to 30 minutes. Today, due to a highway 5 mile back up, I checked in exactly 6 minutes late for my appointment and was told that I needed to reschedule as Dr. McKibbon had a new 5 minute late policy! Needless to say there were several patients in the same boat as me. Even his staff seemed unhappy about the new policy. His time is obviously much more valuable than his patients.
I was very impressed with Dr. McKibbin's approach. I felt like a person with a competent medical guide interested in my health rather than just another patient. I highly recommend him.
Dr. McKibbin is a very kind and knowledgeable physician. He always includes me in the decision making when it comes to testing or referrals. Nancy and Megan are friendly and keep wait times to a minimum.
First time and an excellent talk and getting to know each other. Very pleased to begin my health relationship!
