I have been going to Dr Hemphill for many years. He is a very thorough and proactive Dr. I have had numerous medical issues/problems and thanks to his numerous tests ordered, he has caught many medical problems early on. He is very polite, kind and takes the time with his patients... When he orders a specific tests, MRI, CT scan or whatever, he makes sure to get it done fast... if any issues afterwards, he calls immediately after getting the results to follow thru on the next step necessary. My parents have been patients of Dr. Hemphill's for over 40 years as their primary physician. After several trips to Dr. Hemphill's office and two trips to the Johnson City Medical Center's Emergency room we finally took my Father to the Franklin Woods ER and he was diagnosed with Bone Cancer in a matter of just a few hours.
