Listening to Dr Gentchos describe his surgical remedy to my foot issues was very comforting. Very even demeanor matched with an advanced knowledge of foot surgery and various surgical techniques and procedures. Pre-op staff was very professional and courteous from check-in to check out.
He asked me was the surgery worth it? Yes. Is it worth it for other foot? Not yet. I’m about 9 months into recovery and I feel like I got another year to go.I’m recovering from a flat foot correction. We are thinking my recovery may end up being 2 years in regards to how my whole body is using the foot.Thanks Dr.
I recently had a difficult and involved foot surgery and Dr. Gentchos has been amazing throughout the entire process. Dr. Gentchos is professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He always answers my questions and explains things clearly so I know exactly what to expect. He’s very easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. As difficult as this surgery was, it has been a great experience to have Dr. Gentchos as my surgeon.
Dr Gentchos accepted the challenge presented by my right foot. He has a friendly professional manner and I feel sure he has done the best fix possible for my situation.

Dr. Gentchos was very personable and listened before he spoke and allowed MY personal injury story and questions to determine the direction of my assessment and course of possible treatment(s)! My visit was a “second opinion” which supported my opinion that my original assessment was an overzealous push to an unwarranted and probably unnecessary surgery! I was acutely aware of what the TAR surgery would entail and Dr. Gentchos allayed my fears that one surgical assessment does not necessarily seal a surgical fate!
Had an early morning appointment, wait time was minimal and service was great. Dr. Gentchos was very easy to talk to and we left feeling very comfortable with a future ankle replacement in our future.
