Dr. Castelli may not be the bubbliest personality in the world but he is very helpful, gets us in any time we need, makes sure we understand the information he is giving us, and cares about our kids. He gets straight to point, which I appreciate- so if you are looking for a doctor that beats around the bush, this guy isn’t for you- but for our family We think he is wonderful. All visits are short, sweet and to the point. His staff is also wonderful.
When my wife and I welcomed our first child, we had no idea what to do when finding a pediatrician. While in the hospital, Dr. Castelli stopped by and introduced himself, and event we are truly grateful for, and we've been with him ever sense. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and truly a wonderful doctor. Not only was this doctor rude and condescending. He made a wrong diagnosis and recommended a year of medication that my child did not need. Thankfully I was smart enough to get a second opinion.
Hard to say if he is a good doctor when all he did was refer us to other people. Also for him to hear us we had to yell and personally I don't need the hall way knowing why I'm there. I think he cares but isn't the best for sensitive people or issues without visible causes.
I do not recommend and will not go back again. My Son's Pediatrician retired, we took an appointment with Dr. Castelli having never met him or heard about him. It was a first available appointment basis with Graves Gibert. My Son, who was 17, needed to update his vaccinations for school. I was informed by the nurse that my son would get more than one.
