I started seeing Dr. Amato a few years ago but had to change doctors due to a change in insurance companies, but came back as soon as I could. The majority of other chiropractors I've visited work to get you into a "maintenance plan", where you're relying on them to constantly "fix" you. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They are always spot-on about what is bothering me. I have never been misdiagnosed by this chiropractor; they are an expert at what they do. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. It's always nice to have comfortable chairs to sit in while you are waiting to visit the chiropractor. I appreciate the fact that they invested in comfy chairs. I have been a patient of Amato's for 5-6 years. I am a teacher in Dorchester County. Dr. Amato always waited to see me even though I couldn't get there until 6 or 6:30 in the evening. One of the surveys here said he closed right on time and didn't seem to care. Based on my experiences and those of my co-workers I can't imagine where this is coming from. I've even called him on my cell phone and he has made arrangements to see me on a Saturday morning. He's a very solid chiropractor, is a nurse and has years of experience.
