One of the best in town I hate to recommend Dr. Achterman. Why? Because still more demand created by this recommendation for this gentle man will suffocate his ability to supply! What a pleasure my visits have been. He takes time, thinks, ponders, is enthusiastic, experienced, deliberate, but never cocksure- even after practicing all these years!- He is also charitable (he travelled to Haiti to do emergency surgeries on earthquake victims.) All in all: the kind of doctor we all wish we had more of- and in every specialty!

A great doctor I met this Dr. thru a friend preparing for a knee replacement surgery. My friend has had a few problems along the way and I commend the patience and caring of this doctor just by observing him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
