I live in a condominium community in Mt. Lebanon. There are at least 4 awning companies involved with the 100s of installs each season. I do not use Christman Awning Company ( AND NEVER WILL!). Unfortunately, my neighbor used this company. Upon the install crew's departure on Friday 5-25-18, they drove across a portion of my lawn that I'd recently landscaped, breaking a bonsai pot & some field stone into pieces and leaving multiple, monstrous tire ruts. I have been using Christman Awning for years and they have always been on time and very accommodating when I speak with them. Rose is extremely helpful. This year my awning is not on time, and I am not happy because we are getting ready for a graduation party, but when I spoke with Rose she explained how the weather has impacted their ability to get awnings up in a timely way. Called 6-times and left messages, still no response. They never showed up with our awning this year and can not get a hold of them. Are they out of business ?? Worst customer service I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY!
Rose is always accommodating as to when I want awnings up and taken down. Spoke to her today and we discussed changing some dates. This was her father's business and she is now ,along with her husband, handling the business.
Service with Integrity -- a motto on letterhead doesn't make it so. We purchased a new awning -- paid half the amount and have had eight phone messages unreturned while we wait -- for an update let alone the actual awning. Our desperate call on May 25, 2016, was finally returned with a promise that the awning would be installed by today, June 5. "You have my word," Rae said. Nothing. No installation, no call, no integrity.
We have been trying to get a return call for a month. Nobody answers the phone. Middle of May and our awning was supposed to be put up in April. The checks cash fast though. So displeased.
Never return phone calls, even when you request a call back. Currently 3 weeks late in removing our awning, and still will not call us. We are currently looking for a new awning storage company. We are tired of dealing/never knowing anything with this company. A year and a half of this is enough!
These people are GREAT. Everything on time and as promised. They take the time to explain everything. If you're looking for a fair price, quality and OUTSTANDING customer service, Frank and Rose are the people you want to deal with. Every phone call answered or returned within minutes. I should have bought an awning from them years ago!!
"Service With Integrity" - what a joke! – No phone calls returned. No delivery of ordered products. Disappointment and dissatisfaction.
